Cookies we use today
OzWorkly uses statistics cookies from Google Analytics only if you accept them, and no advertising cookies. If you read the site without accepting statistics cookies, our pages do not set any cookies in your browser. There are no public user accounts and no comments.
Statistics cookies (Google Analytics), only with your consent
With your permission, we use Google Analytics, a service provided by Google LLC, to understand in aggregate which pages are visited and how the site is used, so that we can improve it. Google Analytics is used only if you accept statistics cookies in our cookie banner. Until you choose “Accept statistics”, the Google Analytics code is not loaded, no request is sent to Google and no Google Analytics cookies are set. If you accept, Google Analytics sets these cookies on ozworkly.com:

We have configured Google Analytics so that these cookies expire after 13 months. We never give Google permission to use cookies for advertising, to use your data for advertising or to personalise advertising: in Google’s consent mode, ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization are always denied. Information collected by Google Analytics is processed by Google LLC, including in the United States, and Google describes its use of information in its own privacy policy.
Where we store your choice
Your choice (accept or reject) is saved in your browser’s local storage under the key oz_consent, not in a cookie, so it is not sent to our server. It is kept for 13 months, after which the banner asks again. If your browser blocks local storage, your choice cannot be remembered and the banner will appear again on each page you open. Clearing your browser’s data for ozworkly.com deletes it.
WordPress technical cookies
The site runs on WordPress, which sets the technical cookies below only on the login page and for site administrators who log in. They are needed for logging in and are not used to track visitors.

Our website is hosted by OVHcloud on our own virtual private server. Our hosting provider does not set cookies on the pages we serve. See our Privacy Policy for more about the data our server records.
How to accept, reject or change your choice
When you first visit, a banner offers “Reject” and “Accept statistics” side by side, with the same size and colour. You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings, at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw your consent, we switch Google Analytics off, delete the _ga cookies from your browser and reload the page. If you close the banner without choosing, no Google Analytics cookies are set and the banner appears again on your next visit.
You can also view, block and delete cookies in your browser settings. Reading the site does not need cookies, so blocking them will not affect reading OzWorkly. Blocking them will only prevent administrators from logging in.
Advertising cookies and consent (Not active yet)
Not active yet — this section will apply once advertising is enabled. We plan to show advertising provided by Google AdSense. When advertising is enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve advertisements, limit how often you see them, measure their performance and, where you allow it, personalise them. In regions where consent is required, we will use Google’s consent management platform, which uses the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework, to ask for your choices before such cookies are used, and you will be able to change your choices at any time through a link on the site. Before advertising is enabled, we will update this policy with the cookies involved. Today, no advertising code runs on ozworkly.com and no advertising cookies are set.
