Our Editorial Policy

This policy explains how OzWorkly, a website operated by Ozworkly LLC, researches, writes, reviews and corrects its content about employers, roles and job applications in Australia.

Sources and verification

We prefer primary sources, such as an employer’s official careers website and other official publications. Employers change their recruitment processes, so we record the date on which a page’s facts were last checked against its sources. On our guides to employers, roles, locations and career resources, that date appears as “Last reviewed” when one has been recorded, and the sources the page relies on are listed under “Sources”. This information is not shown on our legal and information pages (such as this one), on directory pages or on the home page. Historical or second-hand information is not presented as current. We do not invent vacancies, pay rates, closing dates, hiring organisations or reviews.

Facts and guidance

We keep verifiable facts (for example, how an employer says it accepts applications) separate from our own general guidance (for example, suggestions on how to describe your experience). Guidance reflects our editorial view; it is general information, not professional career, legal or migration advice, and it does not guarantee any outcome.

Use of AI tools

We use AI tools to assist with tasks such as drafting, structuring and editing text. AI output is never published without human review. A person checks factual statements against sources before publication and is responsible for what we publish. We do not publish large numbers of automatically generated pages, and we do not change dates to make content look newer than it is.

Corrections and updates

If you find an error, email info@ozworkly.com with the page and the details. We review every correction request and, where a correction is warranted, update the page. When a change to one of our guides is significant, we update its review date.

Independence

OzWorkly is independent. Unless a page clearly states otherwise, we have no relationship with the employers we write about, we are not paid by them, and they do not review or approve our content before publication. Employer names and trade marks are used only to identify the organisations we write about.

Advertising

OzWorkly does not currently show advertising. If we introduce advertising in the future, advertisements will be clearly separated from editorial content, and advertisers will have no influence over what we write.
